Contra Costa Public Works to begin Construction Repairs as part of the Pavement Surface Treatment Project in the Alamo Area
April 29, 2022, Alamo, CA – Contra Costa County Public Works will be making road repairs to the 2021 Pavement Surface Treatment Project in the Alamo area beginning on Monday, May 2, 2022 through Friday, May 6, 2022, barring unforeseen circumstances. Work will occur between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm on Stone Valley Road and between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm on the residential streets, weather permitting. Restrictions will be made to minimize impacts during commute hours. Drivers should expect traffic delays of up to 15 minutes while pavement work is occurring on Stone Valley Road.
Work includes applying a surface treatment on the westbound lane of Stone Valley Road, from Round Hill Drive to Stone Valley Way, shown on the accompanying map. Work on Stone Valley Road will occur in three phases. The identified segments 1, 2, and 3, as shown on the accompanying map, represent approximate locations of work along Stone Valley Road. Segment 1 represents work near Roundhill Drive and Roundhill Road. Segment 2 represents work near Roundhill Road and Miranda Avenue. Segment 3 represents work near Miranda Avenue and Stone Valley Way. Each segment is anticipated to take approximately 1 working day. Street sweeping to follow on multiple days after surface treatment. Minor spot repairs are expected on a few residential streets within the Round Hill area between Livorna Road and Stone Valley Road.
