Contra Costa County Public Works Will Perform Tree Trimming and Tree Removal
At Fox Creek Park in Walnut Creek.
February 5, 2020, Walnut Creek, CA – A Contra Costa County Public Works contractor will perform tree trimming and tree removal operations at Fox Creek Park, 118 Anthony Way, in Walnut Creek. The work is scheduled for Tuesday, February 11, 2020 through Friday, February 21, 2020 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. Fox Creek Park will be closed during this work. This work is designed to improve security, reduce maintenance and to prepare for planned park improvements to be installed later this year. Planned improvements include installing: new picnic tables, benches, bike racks and plants, as well as replacing park signage and the stair entry from Anthony Way. County Staff will be available at Fox Creek Park to review the planned improvements, address public comments and answer questions on:
-Friday February 7th, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and
-Sunday February 9th, 2020 from 12:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
