Available Courses
It is recommended that every boater take an American Red Cross or other approved first aid course. It is important to know what to do in the event of an emergency or injury for your own safety, the safety of your passengers and other boaters who are enjoying the Delta. Minimum First Aid Supply List
Equip your boat with a first aid kit that contains, at a minimum, the following first aid supplies:
- Adhesive bandages in various sizes
- Rolled bandages (1 and 3 inches)
- Fingertip bandages
- Triangular bandages
- Sterile pads
- Antiseptic
- Medical Adhesive tape
- Scissors and tweezers
- Gloves
- Germicidal hand wipes
- Butterfly closures
- Eyewash cup
- Sterile eye pad
- Cold compress
- First aid guide
- Calamine lotion
- Aspirin or non-aspirin pain relievers
- Motion sickness medication or patches
- Antibiotic ointment
