Contra Costa County, in partnership with the City of Antioch, brought its annual Block Party to East County. Contra Costa County, the County’s Clerk-Recorder-Elections Department and the City of Antioch collaborated to provide a fun, festive event that offered a wide variety of on-the-spot government services at one single location. After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the event was back for its fourth year of the increasingly popular event, providing opportunities throughout the County to learn what’s available to you as a Contra Costa County resident.

Available services at the Summer Block Party included:
Cat and kitten adoptions, sign-ups for CalFresh, Medi-Cal, and CalWorks, information about childcare and preschool options,
COVID-19 Vaccines, library card signups, Weatherization information, Mental Health Information, Voter Registration, Clean Slate Program information, Enrollment for the Contra Costa County Health Plan, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, Veterans Service Office, Contra Costa Television (CCTV) -- and many more County programs.
