Affordable Housing Finance Committee (AHFC)

Overview

The Affordable Housing Finance Committee (AHFC) works with the Contra Costa County Department of Conservation and Development to develop recommendations for the Board of Supervisors concerning the allocation of Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnership Program, and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOWPWA) funds among eligible affordable housing programs and projects in the County. Currently, the County receives an annual allocation of approximately $5 million in funds for affordable housing development.

Vacancies

The AHFC is seeking applicants. All members shall reside in Contra Costa County and have professional experience in the field of affordable housing finance, design, development, or property management. Members may be retired or active affordable housing professionals.
